Sunday Bests

Hi all!

I hope you all have been doing well! I am back in action with some advice for Easter Sunday. I don't know about you all, but one of my favorite parts about Easter Sunday is dressing up in an array of spring colors. Even if the weather is not that warm I cannot help but feel like spring is on its way with all the pastels. Anyways, I will be spending my Easter weekend at Penn State because I have two exams next week (sad I know). So, some of my friends and I decided to dress up and go to mass on Sunday and possibly out to brunch. So, here are some ideas I have for you all on what to wear Easter Sunday with your family and friends.

I wouldn't necessarily say to bring out the red for Easter Sunday because I normally would want to take the opportunity to wear pastels, BUT I think the lace and beige backing make this dress VERY spring! I love the detail and would just break up the dress a little with a red belt. These shoes are to-die-for, and I am debating buying them ASAP! This look is simple, but the perfect look!

This look is a little more dressy, but I love a floral blazer. The blazer is the perfect addition to this neutral look. The dress is simple, but so exquisite. The style and material makes the dress a little fancier and a perfect 10. Throw in the floral blazer and gold accents with the shoes and jewelry and you have the perfect look!
This look is a little more casual, but still a great ensemble. The gray sweater and silver necklace on top balance out the busy-ness of the floral skirt. The shoes are the perfect addition because they are a go-to for any outfit.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Casie

OOTD: The Dog Days are Over...Not Quite

Hello to all my lovely fashionista followers!

I am finally back in action with another OOTD post! The weather here in State College has not been so kind for the past week or so. The snow and temperature continue to fall as the end of March approaches. Anyways, here is my look for today. Since I currently do not own rain boots  I must resort to any boots I own so I don't fall on the icy sidewalks. Well, here is the look, and I hope you enjoy!

Find of the Week: Oasis

Hi all!

Sorry for being completely MIA for the past month or two, but I am here to make it up to you with a new find for online shopping. I always look for new websites for shopping so that I can find stylish pieces that are also unique. I am so happy I stumbled across Oasis Clothing (http://oasis.andotherbrands.com) today because their clothes are absolutely incredible. Here are some of my favorite pieces from the website along with different ways to style them from season to season. Enjoy!

This sweater looks so comfy, and it has the ability to be styled many different ways. I would pair it with printed skinny jeans and neutral flats for transitioning to the spring. You could also pair it with colored skinny jeans and a forest green cargo vest for another laid-back look. Basically this top can go with anything you would like because it is a neutral staple to anyone's closet.

This top has many of the same qualities as the gray sweater above. It is a little more casual, and as a college student I would pair it with yoga pants and converse on a down day when I am busy studying. I would also tend to wear it with colored skinnies and a statement necklace or scarf. The possibilities are endless!

This top was advertised as more of a winter top with black, but I look at this more as a summer top as long as you style it right. Try pairing it with light pink or teal skinny jeans so that you can wear it through the spring. The color of this top and print as perfect, so style is pretty simple as long as you pair it with the right colors. I think if you pair it with black skinnies the colors are a little to harsh, so for winter I would stick with dark skinny jeans and neutral flats.

I am actually obsessed with this jacket and wish that I had somewhere to wear this. I would pair this with simple black pieces such as a black blouse and skinnies or a black dress and tights. Keep the outfit classic and simple when including this piece.

I think every woman should have a lace dress in their wardrobe, and this green-color is perfect! I would  avoid belting this dress because I think the dress is perfect on its own. I would pair it with nude pumps or even throw in a pop-of-color with the shoes. I would also pair it with a nude blazer for a work day.

Hope you enjoy! I will definitely keep my eye on this website for some more good finds!

Double Take: Lauren Conrad

Hey all!!

I hope your weekends went well and hopefully you had a long weekend like me! Anyways yesterday I recreated one of my favorite star styles: Lauren Conrad! She always seems to look perfectly put-together without trying too hard. This look is pretty simple, but with temperatures getting into the single digits here at Penn State my main concern is staying warm. Enjoy!

OOTD: To Infinity and Beyond

Hi all!!

Another day and I am sticking to my promise! I hope that my pictures will improve, but for now I am stuck taking pictures by myself in my apartment. The lighting isn't great and the quality isn't the best, but I am working on getting a tripod which will help immensely. Here is my look today! We got some snow here in State College, PA last night so I wanted something casual, but comfy to wear out. I have this sweater in two colors and it is my favorite for a warm winter day. I dressed up the look with a scarf and some combat boots.

See you all soon! Have a great night and stay fashionable!

OOTD: Casual with a Twist

Hey girlies!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic day! Today was such a great day but very long for me. I am finally starting my outfit of the day posts and hopefully this becomes a habit. I was dressed a little bit nicer than usual today because I had an event that was business casual later in the day. I tried to dress down the dress with the sweater and then black tights and combat boots. Considering only my combat boots and sneakers fit with my ankle brace, I am most likely wearing my combat boots for the next couple of days. Here is my look, enjoy!!

Hopefully you will see another post soon!
